The Dyer County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday it was passing along National Weather Service information calling for 2.5 to 4 inches of rain this weekend.
The office said it shared the forecast "in an effort to keep our citizens informed." Sheriff Grant Montgomery signed the post.
The text of the post did not say which areas could get the most rain, when the rain is expected to start or end, or whether any watches or warnings have been issued.
