Virginia Lucille Paige Walpole, 90 of Halls died at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Union City, on December 25, 2012. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday December 29th, 2012 at Halls First United Methodist Church; services will follow at 1 PM. The Rev. Barbara Blackman-Fortune will be officiating. Burial after the service will follow at the Thurmond Cemetery. She was born March 1,1922 in Lauderdale County. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Frankie Paige. She is survived by one sister Helen Hale, six nephews and a niece Barbara (Gary) Rogers, Stan Paige, Donna Clement, Vicki (Don) Spencer, Dr. John (Jane) Hale, and several great nephews and nieces, and one sister in law Frances Paige. She was preceded in death by her son James E. Walpole, four brothers; James, Leon, W.C. and Lewis Paige, and two sisters; Shirley Billington Vaughn and Ann Ross. The family requests memorials are sent to Halls First United Methodist Church or the Thurmond Cemetery Fund. Virginia worked for 15 years at Tupperware. She attended First United Methodist Church where she was a member for the past 57 years. She was a member of the Nannie Rawls Sunday School Class. She was involved in the U.M.W. and dearly loved her family and the town of Halls. She will be terribly missed by all that knew her.

Ann Lowe Blurton, 90, of Dyersburg died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 59 years, member of Outpost Sunday School class, chancel choir member for 40 years. She was past president of the United Methodist Women and also elected as the first City of Dyersburg Alderwoman. She was appointed to the Dyersburg Municipal Planning Board in 1997 and served many years. She was a retired real estate agent and broker until the age of 85. Mrs. Blurton was a past president of the Cotillion Club, a member of the McDowell Music Club, The Tennessee Federation of Music Clubs, the Good Earth Garden Club and the Community Concert Association. Funeral services for Mrs. Blurton will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary conducted by Dr. David Russell. He will celebrate his 71st wedding anniversary in heaven with his deceased wife, Georgia. They were married on December 21, 1941. He was born on November 1, 1919. He was a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, retired from Colonial Rubber, and a WWII Veteran. He received numerous medals and a purple heart. Mrs. Mary Sue Braddy Rudicil, 91, of Ridgely, TN died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. Mrs. Rudicil was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Mason Hall. The family will hold a graveside service Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 3:30 PM at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Survivors include 4 grandchildren, Jackie Jordan of Ridgely, Timothy Page of Tiptonville, Cindy Kemp of Jackson, and Shileah Wright of Louisiana; six great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Rudicil; three daughters, Pauline Adcock, Mary Martha Rudicil, and Olivia Schuff; and her parents, Marcus and Maude Kuykendal Braddy. Survived by two daughters: Amy Olive of Jackson, TN, Samantha Capps Hutt of Memphis, TN and two sons: Tony Capps of Dyersburg, TN, Timothy Capps of Dyersburg, TN. Brother of three sisters: Margaret Bryan of Dyersburg, TN, Jewel White of Dyersburg, TN, Janie Haynes of Unionville, TN and two brothers: Larry Capps of Halls, TN, Marvin Capps of Sedan, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Jeanette Watson Capps, brother, Billy Capps, brother, Thomas Capps, Sister, Laverne Tibbs. Mr. Charles Aaron Cherry was born May 3, 1935 in Halls, TN. He passed away in his home, surrounded by family and friends, on November 18, 2012 at the age of 77. He was a passionate cattle farmer and a long-time member of the Ripley church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents William McKinley and Bessie Riddick Cherry and four brothers. Mr. Johnny B. Inlow, 84, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in Tiptonville. Mr. Inlow was a graduate of Ridgely High School. He was always interested in the growth of Lake County and served as County Commissioner for 20 years. He was one of the original owners of the Wynnburg Tractor Company and served as president of the company. He loved animals and did a lot of horse trading and judging horse shows. Visitation for Mr. Inlow will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Services will be graveside Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely conducted by Masonic Harmony Lodge 184. Survivors include his wife, Sue Kennedy Inlow of Tiptonville; three daughters, Suzette Boehms of Duck River, Tn., Johna Burks of Jackson, Tn., and Karen Mathison of Huntsville, Al.; one son, Sage Inlow of Tiptonville; one sister, Nell Hamlin of Brownsville, Maine; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mable Inlow; two sisters, Martha McClain and Mable Wright; and three brothers, James P. Inlow, Carey Inlow and Joe P. Inlow.
