She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Farrow; her parents, Thomas and Wilma Tomlinson Nichols; a sister, Virginia Hardwick; and four brothers, Douglas Nichols, Milburn "Billy" Nichols, T.W. Nichols and Leon Nichols. Pallbearers will be Michael Nichols, Keith Kauhi, Keith Lewis Kauhi, Earl Brooks, Elliott Kimbee and David Harring. Survivors include his wife, Alvada Patterson of Dyersburg; two daughters, Melissa Patterson Singleton and husband, Eddie, and Ashley Patterson, all of Dyersburg; two sisters, Joyce McCorkle and Margie Galloway, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Thomas Patterson and Jerry Patterson, both of Dyersburg; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Megan Singleton. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Elick Patterson; his parents, Jesse and Lettie Patterson; a sister, Betty Prater; and a brother, Ray Patterson.
