Sue Lucas Moore, 90, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Regional Hospital of Jackson.

She was a retired cashier for Life of Georgia. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of Fidelis Sunday School Class and a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She lived a life of devotion to her Lord, church, family, work and host of friends.

He is also survived by four sisters, Peggy House (Bob), Linda Daniels (Jerry), Genette Copeland (Hershel), all of Dyersburg, Sharon Karr (John David) of Albertville, AL Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elaine Marilyn Benson Seratt, as well as a daughter Lori Seratt and a granddaughter Christina Seratt. He was a wonderful loving brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to all. Ruby Estes Burse, 95, of Ridgely died Sunday, August 10, 2014, at The Bridge in Ridgely. She was born May 3, 1919 to Lundy and Polly McCoy Estes. She was a member of the Ridgely Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family and quilting. Funeral services for Mrs. Burse will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2014, in the Dyersburg Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with grandsons Coy Hathcock, Ricky Burse and Wyman Chism officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons, Nick Eddlemon, Ben Eddlemon, Josh Walker, Brad Chism, Brandon Chism, Bryan Melton and Jordan Burse. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Chism, Randy Burse, Jimmy Eddlemon, Jamie Shields, Wood Deming, Mark Smith, Chad Chism, Cody Chism, Micah Hathcock, Brock Smith and Dustin Smith. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 12th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home in Dyersburg. She is survived by two daughters, Jenell Hathcock (Coy) of Bradford, Barbara Chism (Malcolm) of Ridgely; two sons, Glen Burse (Delores) of Dyersburg, Jerry Burse of Nashville; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-granchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Vernice Burse; two sisters, Margaret Cathey, Daris Henson; two brothers, Rye Estes, Guy Estes; her grandson, Mackie Glen Chism, her great-grandson Christopher Chism and her great-great grandchildren, Caidyn Pierce and Jacob Scott.
