Born in Gates, TN, she was the daughter of the late Tollie F. and the late Gladys (Emerson) Moore. She was a Instructor, employed by Helen Tucker Center for over 26 years. Mrs. Chalk was also a member of Mary's Chapel Baptist Church near Ripley,TN. Survived by her husband: Daniel Hugh Chalk, three daughters: Janet Sanders of Gates, TN, Kathy Richardson of Gates, TN, Tina Chalk of Gates, TN and one son: Kenneth Chalk of Porter, TX Sister of one sister: Debbie Tims of Gates, TN and one brother: Don Moore of Ripley, TN, she also leaves a Sister In Law, Brenda Ford Moore, of Dyersburg,TN. Mrs. Chalk is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
