Services will be at 100 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. She was a former bookkeeper for the Halls High School and was one of the original employees of the Lauderdale County Bank, where she served customers for over 25 years. Mrs. Brown was a member of Melville Methodist Church. In the Korean War, Percy served in the U S Army, 5th Regimental Combat Team, Long Range Recon Patrol attaining the rank of 1st Sergeant, then the Mississippi National Guard and afterwards attended Mississippi State University. He worked as a Mississippi State Tax Agent, Mississippi State Bank Examiner, and a U. S. Federal Bank Examiner.
