Mrs. May Gean Bray, 98, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Bray was a homemaker and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Bray will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Milton Carroll. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday, September 19, 2010. Survivors include three sons, James Bray and wife Jeanette of Lexington, KY, Jerry Bray and wife Jean of Bradford, TN and Paul Bray and wife Janie of Memphis, TN; 9 grandchildren, Marty Bray, Paula Stotelmyer, Mike Bray, Laura Bray, Lee Bray, Barry Bray, David Bray, Jennifer Bailey and Kevin Bray; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Lee Bray; 2 brothers, Stanley Gean and Taylor Gean and her parents, William Thomas & Lena Lee Taylor Gean.
