Annaleigh Renee Escobar

June 29, 2002 – October 29, 2019

Annaleigh Renee Escobar, 17, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Annaleigh was a leader, and she used her leadership skills in multiple areas. She was a Dyer County 4-H Honor Club member, Western Region 4-H All Star, Dyer County 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador, selected to 2019-2020 Tennessee State 4-H Council, Tennessee Strong Ambassador for the State of Tennessee Department of Health, President of Dyer County Youth Health Council, member of DCHS FFA and member of DCHS FFA Floriculture CCM. She was looking forward to being a 2020 Congressional Intern in Washington DC. Annaleigh was loyal – to her friends and to her commitments. Annaleigh was brave. She even wore an orange blow-up suit during Spirit Week at Dyer County High School, just to mention one of her costumes that week, and she won Spirit Queen! Annaleigh was fun and playful – she loved to play pranks. Her friends and family never knew what she would do next! Annaleigh was loving. She adored her family, and we were blessed to be the recipients of her love. Finally, and most importantly, Annaleigh loved Jesus. She loved her church family at Lenox Baptist Church. The highlight of her year was a mission's trip to Costa Rica, where she worked with the children. Because of her faith in Jesus, we are comforted to know that she is with him now in heaven. Annaleigh will be forever missed until we join her there. Our prayer is for students and anyone who knew Annaleigh to seek God and make your life about loving Him and loving others.
