He is survived by his wife: Margaret (Goforth) Bowles , two daughters: Paula Kay Hawkins and Felisha Lemons, and one son: Tim Bowles and two step-sons Scotty Kiestler and Michael Kiestler. Brother of four sisters: Martha Lee Smith, Janice Bedwell, Rita Carol Nailleux and Tammy Steel, and four brothers: Danny Bowles, James Bowles, Phillip Bowles and Roger Bowles. Paul was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Rice and Joyce Marie Goodman and a brother Jerry Bowles. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended Three Oaks Baptist Church. He was retired after 33 years with South Central Bell. He was a farmer and co-owner of Ds Nursery. Big Daddy touched many young peoples lives thru Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and as a Little League Baseball coach. With his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they enjoyed camping and activities with FFA and 4H, showing livestock since 1979. He was an avid duck hunter.

Born May 22, 1992, in Kaluga, Russia, she is the daughter of Scott Kerr Haight and Rhea Louise Clift. She was a member of St. Marys Episcopal Church, Dyersburg. Lana was a graduate of Dyersburg High School. She pursued several career interests, including modeling, restaurant server, retail sales, criminal justice, and banking. She was working towards a college degree.

Lana was fiercely independent, inquisitive, vivacious, and an avid conversationalist. She was an amateur artist, with a keen appreciation of beauty and a love of bold colors, often expressed in her elegant clothing style with coordinating shoes. She leaves her family and friends with many cherished memories of the special way she touched their lives. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 22nd at 1:30 p.m. at St. Marys Episcopal Church, Dyersburg, officiated by the Reverend Gary Meade and assisted by the Reverend Gayle McCarty. Committal service will follow at St. Marys Columbarium.

He was born to parents, Charles Harris, Jr. and Nelle Moore Harris, on April 6, 1943, in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Halls High School and received a degree in Education at The University of Tennessee at Martin where he was a charter member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Roger married his high school sweetheart, Lynne Stallings Harris, in 1965 who survives him. He is survived by his daughter, Hope Medlock (David) and son, Robert Harris (Rhonda) as well as five grandchildren: Matthew Medlock, Sarah McMillian (James David), Zach Harris, Andrew Harris, and Ben Harris. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Harris (Carol). He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, being with family, teaching school, and tending to his blueberries. Roger was predeceased by his parents, Charles Harris, Jr. and Nelle Harris Kendrick and his younger brother, Randy Harris. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the HHS Building Foundation through the Bank of Halls. She was born January 20, 1920 in Divernon, IL to the late Andrew and Petranella Gudenas. She retired over fifty years ago after working as a wire operator for the J.C. Penney and Sears companies. She was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, attending Mass as often as possible. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed baking.

She is survived by her daughters, Trisha & Francis Jansta of Antioch, IL, Judy & Bill Boehmler of Dyersburg, TN and Sue & Tom Stone of Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tracy Granzyk, Kathleen Granzyk, Mark Huber, Steve & Megan Granzyk, Stacy & Brent Rademaker, Scott & Teresa Demlow, Blake & Mary Boehmler, Michael Boehmler and Jackie & Ewing Liu and five great-grandchildren, Faith and Sydney Cullen, Vince and Payton Granzyk and Madelynn Rademaker. She was the daughter of Dr. James Willis Warren and Katie Lee Pearson. Mrs. Nunn was educated in the Halls, Tennessee schools and at Blue mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. On August 6, 1936, she was married to Oliver Joshua Nunn of Halls. They were the parents of three children: Blanche Nunn Hamilton of Germantown, TN, Dr. Oliver J. Nunn, Jr. (Phoebie) of Johnson City, TN, and Commander James Willis Nunn, U.S. Navy (Retired) (Faye) of Lafayette, LA. Mrs. Nunn had five grandchildren: Brian Oliver Hamilton of Germantown, TN, Anne Hamilton Calderwood of Collierville, TN (James), Jeanne Lee Hamilton of Braunschweig, Germany (Josh Merlis), Mark James Nunn and Heather Lynn Nunn of Los Angeles, CA. She had three great-grandchildren: Alexander Scott Calderwood and Rosamond Agnes Calderwood of Collierville, TN, and Sidney Blanche Hamilton-Merlis of Braunschweig, Germany. Mrs. Nunn was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, James Wilder Warren and Willis Duke Warren, and her beloved husband of 65 years. Mrs. Nunn was a member of First Baptist of Halls, the Key Corner Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Dyersburg, TN, and the Lauderdale County Historical Society. She was active in church and civic affairs. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by many relatives and friends. Ruth Lynn Bradley Norman, a life-long citizen of the Dyersburg area, has passed away July 19, 2019, in Dyersburg. She was 87. Mrs. Norman was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ. Mrs. Norman was born in 1931 to Neely Edwin and Ruby Corley Bradley. She spent her childhood in the Finley area, then attended Dyersburg High School. A 1949 graduate of DHS, she was part of the marching band as a majorette. During this time, her winning smile helped earn her 1st runner-up to Miss Dyersburg. Ruth met Dyersburg native William T. (Bill) Norman while working at City Drug and they married in 1952. Together, they raised four children in Dyersburg. Along with Mr. Normans brother Bob, they owned and operated Normans Radio and TV Clinic for over 50 years. Through her children, Mrs. Norman was a steady presence in PTA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and other social organizations. She was always ready for fundraisers and community volunteer work in addition to her activities for the Church of Christ. Local citizens knew Ruth Norman for her bubbly laugh, red hair and generous heart. She was dedicated to enriching Dyersburg through civic activities, particularly for the arts. Mrs. Norman worked for many years with Dyersburg Community Concerts, Dyersburg Little Theater and Sweet Adelines. Her beautiful alto voice was often requested for events. She was an original member of the MacDowell Music Club of Dyersburg and remained active her entire life. Some also will remember her for the entertaining demonstrations of her folk art “dancing dolls.” Mrs. Norman is predeceased by Bill, her husband of 57 years, in addition to a brother, Robert Bradley, and two sisters, Martha B. Davis and Mary Dean Hartman. She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Cynthia N. Russell, Lisa Norman, William B. Norman and Keith Norman; Joshua B. Russell, Keith E. Lay, Zovie Najarian, Bella Norman and Lola Norman. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, July 22, 2019 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Scott Owen with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
