She is the daughter of the late Edgar Albert and the late Lois (Strickland) Morris. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in their family owned business. Paula is survived by her husband, Earl Palmer Sisson Jr. a daughter, Patti (Brett) Heinemeyer of Ripley, TN. She is also survived by two sisters: Margie Gaines and Janie Morris and two brothers: Eddie Morris and Paul Morris all of Ripley, TN. Paula also leaves behind two grandsons: Rhett Heinemeyer and Ryan Heinemeyer also of Ripley. She was preceded in death by her step son, Ronald Leon Sisson. Paul Eugene Jacobs, 86, passed away in Dyersburg, Tennessee on October 5 after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Paris, Illinois, the youngest of five children. A talented athlete, he excelled in basketball and baseball for the Paris High School “Tigers,” later playing semi-professional baseball before enlisting in the U.S Army and serving honorably in the Korean War. After returning from the War, he completed a bachelors degree in chemistry at Indiana State University that launched a long and successful career in the plastics industry in Illinois and Tennessee. His interests included family genealogy, travel, and military history, especially of the Civil War. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Barbara. He is survived by two step-children, Patrick Sullivan of Seattle, Washington and Brigid Webb of St. Charles, Illinois, and three grand-children as well as numerous nephews and nieces and dear friends. He will be interred at a private ceremony in the family plot at Vermillion, Illinois.

Raymond Elmous Belton, Jr., age 77, of Halls died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home in Halls. Raymond was born September 12, 1941 in Nankipoo, TN. He is the son of the late Raymond Elmous and the late Thelma Lucille (Paige) Belton. He was a retired employee of Delta Airlines. He is survived by his wife: Sybil (Kiihnl) Belton , three daughters: Lori Kennedy of Halls, TN, Tammy O'Bryan of Halls, TN and Sherry McBee of Olive Branch, MS, and one son: Tim Belton of Gates, TN; Brother of one sister: Sue Wright of Halls, TN and two brothers: Artell Belton and and Danny Belton both of Halls, TN. Raymond also leaves 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Gates Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed the many mission trips that he went on. The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26 at Gates Baptist Church, Gates, TN with Bro. Jerrell Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Thurmond Cemetery. Born February 6, 1957, he was the son of the late Bennie, Sr. and Sarah Joyce Tidwell Patterson. Randy was a member of First United Pentecostal Church and a former roofing inspector. He was a Mason. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend John Morris with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Randy Patterson, Jr., Rickie Tidwell, Duwane Patterson, Scotty Summers, Alex Summers, Keith Bell, Braxton Dorse, Michael Shane Patterson, Michael Chad Patterson and Jeffery Patterson, III will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 27th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ozment Patterson; two daughters, Gena Patterson (Keith Bell) of Arlington, TX, Charley Harris of Dyersburg; one son, Randy Patterson, Jr. of Arlington, TX; two grandchildren, Randy Patterson, III, Franklin Patterson; three brothers, Bennie Patterson (Nancy), Jeff Patterson, Sr., both of Dyersburg, Keith Patterson of Azle, TX; three step-daughters, Carol Leigh Griffin (Manuel) of Burke, VA, Carrie Griffin Monica (Nickie) of Baton Rouge, LA, Katie Ebner (Sean) of Lafayette, LA; and four step-grandchildren, Preslie Ebner, Reid Ebner, Owen Monica and Ella Grace Monica. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Tammy Patterson and his daughter, Kimberly Gail Patterson.
