Floyd Lee "SPUNK" Taylor, age 96, of Henning,TN died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at home in Henning. Floyd was born January 24, 1922 in Booneville, MS. He is the son of the late Charles and the late Donnie Delores (Petty) Taylor. He was farmer and an auctioneer. He is survived by six daughters: Angela (Dennis) Littles of Ripley, TN, Teresa(Dan) Mayne of Rossville, TN, Cynthia (Tim) Fleet of Atoka, TN, Floye (Harold) Puckett of Mercy, TN, Judy (Howard) Blankenship of Hernando, MS and Kathy (Chris) Smith of Jackson, TN, and two sons: Eddie Joe Taylor of Jackson, TN and Mike (Tracy) Taylor of Jackson, TN,; one sister: Neal Austin of Brownsville, TN; He also has twenty-three grandchildren, forty eight great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. He also leaves a companion, Carolyn Midkiff of Henning, TN Predeceased by; son, Sammy Taylor, daughter, Sandra Taylor, brother, Charles Taylor, brother, JC Taylor, brother, Owen Taylor, sister, Libby Campbell, sister, Gladys Campbell, sister, Doris Land, sister, Quay Gibson, sister, Louise Greenway, sister, Sue Ladwig, great grandson, Jameson Casteel and a daughter-in-law, Susan Taylor. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 17 at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, 4299 Arp Central Rd., Ripley, TN with Bro. Scott Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be his grandchildren, Johnny Littles, Taylor Butterworth, Jeremy Ray, Wes Ray, Myles Taylor and Dylan Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be his Great-Grandchildren, Marcus Ackerson and Johnny Wayne Littles, Jr. Calling hours will be Friday,February 16 from 5 - 8pm. at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N.
