Aaron Guy Staulcup

Aaron Guy Staulcup, 94, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
He was born on July 15, 1923 in Tiptonville, TN, to the late Lynn Grady Staulcup and the late Emma Lydia Adams Staulcup. He was a senior mechanic on B17 airplanes at the Halls Airbase during World War II. Aaron was living in Ridgley, where he met and married his wife of 65 years, Jo Ruth McCutchen Staulcup. He was a retired farmer and landowner and was also a charter member of the Lake County Farm Bureau, where he served as president for 26 years. He was a member of the Willingham Memorial Baptist Church in Ridgely and a certified Lay Speaker for both the Memphis Methodist Conference and Gideon's International. In 2004, Staulcup was awarded the Harry Denman Evangelism Award. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Oriental Shrines, and a lifetime contributor to the Shriner's cripple children and burns hospitals.
