Peggy is a member of the Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. When health allowed, she was active in the Keenagers, Bontheo Circle, Dyer County Fair, The University of Tennessee Alumni Association, Chi Omega Sorority, various garden clubs, bridge clubs and T.P.A. Peggy was President of the Dyersburg Jaycettes and in charge of the Dyersburg Christmas Parade in 1955, which was the first year the parade had "floats". "Peggy and Jere" spent their entire life in service to others and truly made their part of the world a better place.

Crystal was a CNA at The Highlands of Dyersburg. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017 - Graveside at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:00 am, Thursday morning. Along with her parents she is survived by her husband, Jeremy Jones of Ridgely; two sons, Nathainel and Joska Edwards of Jackson; one sister, Ashley Asher (Justin) of Finley; one brother, William Thompson of Michigan; her grandmother, Betty Thrasher of Ridgely and her cousin, Donna Reynolds of Ridgely. Kenneth “Hank” Hankins, 60, of Dyersburg, died May 12, 2017 in Dyersburg. Born October 2, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth Jerome and Connie Fay Sanders Hankins. Mr. Hankins proudly served his county in the United States Army and was a member of Junction Church of God. He was a retired groundsman for Forked Deere Electric and was currently employed at Harbor Freight.

Jeff Puckett, age 52, of Halls died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Methodist Hospice Residence of Memphis, TN. Jeff was born January 29, 1965 in Dyersburg, TN. He is the son of the late Jerry Howard and Monnie Lou (Tomlinson) Puckett. In 1990, he and his father opened Key Corner Exxon. Jeff also was an automotive parts salesman. He is survived by his mother, Monnie Lou Puckett of Halls. Jeff also leaves a sister, Allison Brammell of Nashville, TN and one brother, David (Lesa) Puckett of Halls, TN. He also is survived by his nephew, Harrison Brammell of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father: Jerry Puckett and a nephew; Josh Puckett, grandparents: John and Mary Etta Tomlinson, and Leslie and Sam Ethel Puckett. The memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, May 15 at Halls First United Methodist Church, Halls, TN with Rev. Barbara Blackmon-Fortune officiating. Calling hours will be Monday, May 15 from 11:00 am. until service time at 1pm. Halls First United Methodist Church, Halls, TN. Immediately following the memorial service, everyone is invited to attend a fellowship meal, in the fellowship hall of the church.
