He was a sports person and liked to hunt and fish. He was a river worker and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Most of all, he was a Christian and a member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ. Duke was a good friend to all.

He served as club president for two terms and also received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. He served on the Dyersburg Board of Realtors, the Dyer County Equalization Board, was an initiated member of the local Masonic Lodge, and was a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard.

February 16, 1953 – December 22, 2013

Julia Joy Click Wright (Julie), 60, of Memphis passed away in her daughter's home on December 22, 2013. Julie was born at Millington AFB on February 16, 1953 to parents Austin and Joy Click. As an Air Force brat, she lived in numerous cities around the country and even spent a couple of years in Newfoundland, Canada. The majority of her life was spent in Rome, Georgia where she raised two children. It was there she worked in the printing industry for nearly three decades. She was classically trained in voice and shared this gift with her church family and also was involved in community theatre. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 28, 2013 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery with Brother John Carroll officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Young, Bruce Pope, Ross Pope, Steven Moore, Steven Parker, and Kenny Cogdill. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Laura (Lolly Wright) and Chad Holiman of Oak Grove, KY, Sister and brother-in-law Candy (Click) and Michael Grant of Tuscaloosa, AL., Brother and sister-in-law Austin (Bubba) and Faye Click Jr. of Southhaven, MS, Sister and brother-in-law Carol (Click) and Michael Baker of Tuscaloosa, AL and Grandchildren: Thomas, Austin, Tanner, Shalon, Sydney and Bethany. Julie is preceded in death by mother Joy Copeland Click, father Austin Click and son, Chris Wright.
