He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Wells Troy, of Marble Hill, MO, a daughter, Kathy E. Glaze and husband Eddie of Lynnhaven, FL, two sons Jack L. Troy Jr. and William "Bill" Troy and wife Susan all of Dyersburg, a brother Terry A. Troy of Boone, NC, five grandchildren, Jarred S. Fowlkes of Union City, TN, Sara K. Norton of Dallas, TX, L. Casey Troy, William Harris Troy II and John E. Troy all of Dyersburg, and a great-grandson, Skyler L. Fowlkes of Finley, TN He was preceded in death by his parents William Harris and Kathryn S. Nona Kate Bush, 81, of Dyersburg, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was retired following 48 years of employment at Dyersburg Fabrics, was a member of First Baptist Church of Dyersburg where she taught the 4-year-olds Sunday school class for more than 50 years and worked in the church kitchen for 14 years, and was an avid gardener.
