Mr. Donald Ray "Pete" Hudson, 61, of Friendship, TN, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Jackson General Hospital. Pete was born January 6, 1963 to the late Lemmie & Sally Hudson. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a long-time supporter of local veterans' organizations. He was an Industrial Maintenance Instructor at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Newbern. He is remembered for his love of sharing his knowledge and skills by repairing items for family and friends. He enjoyed time in his workshop tinkering on cars, computers and electronics.

He is survived by his wife, of 42 years, Triana Cooper Hudson, his sons; Jonathon (Jessica), David (Julia) & Joel Hudson, his brother, James Hudson, his sisters; Marlene Laskowski, Vanessa Hudson & Penny Presley as well as several nieces, nephews & great-nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Lemmie Arnel Hudson, his mother, Sally Floyd Hudson Smith and step-father, Donald Smith.

Sue managed the Darling Shop in Dyersburg for many years. After her husbands death in 1983, she was greeting customers with her beautiful smile and friendliness at Walgreens and DeLoachs Shoe Store. Dr. Lonnie Stuart Crichfield, age 89, of Halls passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Lonnie was born June 8, 1935, in Blytheville, AR. He is the son of the late Edgar Stuart and the late Margaret (McDearman) Crichfield. He graduated from Halls High School in 1953 and went on to graduate from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lonnie Stuart Crichfield retired from the United States Department of Agriculture where he represented the USDA, APHIS, and Veterinary Services for 32 years as a Veterinary Medical Officer. He loved bird hunting, training bird dogs, riding broncs, and fishing. Stuart is survived by his wife: Dotsy Olds Sadler Crichfield; his one grandson: Cody Crichfield; and his right-hand man, Lawrence. He leaves behind stepchildren: Shirley Adams, Carol Sadler, and Dennis (Felicia) Sadler. Stuart also leaves behind seven step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Edgar Stuart Crichfield and Margaret McDearman Crichfield, his two sons: John (Wendy) Crichfield and Casey Crichfield and their mother: Marilyn Olds Crichfield, and one step-grandchild: Brad Williams. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she taught Childrens Sunday School class for many years, and later attended Three Oaks Baptist Church. Laura Nell, along with her husband, were co-owners of Ds Nursery. With her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, "Booboo" enjoyed camping and activities with FFA and 4H, showing livestock since 1979.

Darryl was a fourth-generation farmer and proud Owner and Operator of McGuire Farms and Flying Service. Those who knew Darryl know he was very seldom still, but when he was you can bet his lap was filled with his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than being a HeeHaw to his grandchildren and an Uncle Bubba to his niece and nephew. When asked what her goal in life was, Paula would never hesitate to say she always wanted to be a mama. This goal was only surpassed by her joy in being a MeeMaw to her two grandchildren as she anxiously awaited the arrival of the third. Anyone who knew Paula knew she had no greater joy in life than her grands. She was a world traveler, and enjoyed every memory made as she traveled with her family and her girlfriends. Ms. Sadie Mae Floyd, of Dyersburg, passed away at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg hospital. She was born December 30, 1931 in South Carolina to the late Thomas & Zadie Turner. Sadie Mae Floyd was a devoted wife and caring mother and grandmother. She served in ministry alongside her husband for many years. She is fondly remembered as a wonderful cook and talented seamstress.

She is survived by her son, James Michael Floyd & wife, Bonnie of Dyersburg, a daughter, Sherry Dianne McClenney of White House, her nine grandchildren, Steven Floyd & wife, Heidi, Ladonna Ivey, Michael McClenney & wife, Jennifer, Derek Floyd & Wife, Lori, Lisa Frazier & husband, Phillip, Law Floyd & wife, Eleisa, Alisha Davidson & husband, John, Vicky Floyd and Jessica McGehee & husband, Josh as well as her twenty-one great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Ingeborg Karolina Jowers, 97, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at The Bay at Dyersburg Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Ingeborg was born on March 14, 1927, in Wurzburg, Germany, to the late Josef and Karolina Lutz Harteis. For 15 years, Ingeborg taught German Language and Culture to the United States Army Servicemen that were stationed in Germany and surrounding areas. In 1966, Ingeborg moved to the United States and settled in Dyersburg, TN. She became a naturalized citizen on May 1, 1972. Ingeborg worked at First Citizens National Bank for over 30 years and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She also worked in the nursery at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 40 plus years. Ingeborg loved being in nature, her dachshund and children. She also taught German Classes to Dr. Daniel Green, Dr. James Flatt and to anyone else that was eager to learn the language.

She loved reading, gardening, and cooking for her cherished family. Her home served as a gathering place filled with love and laughter. An active member of First Baptist Church, Tiptonville for 72 years, she served on various committees as well as delivered weekly recordings of the sermons to the homebound members.
