Mary was born March 3, 1935 in Linden, TN, to the late Ruby & St. Elmo Warren. She was employed by AllWear Manufacturing , also owning Hallum's Grocery with her husband, Richard for many years. She is remembered for her love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her witness to those around her. She was a long-time member of Holy Hills Baptist Church and was active in the Women's Ministry Union and as a leader for GA's and Girl Scouts. She truly loved people and never met a stranger, caring for everyone that crossed her path. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting and sewing.

Dr. Lonnie Stuart Crichfield, age 89, of Halls passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Lonnie was born June 8, 1935, in Blytheville, AR. He is the son of the late Edgar Stuart and the late Margaret (McDearman) Crichfield. He graduated from Halls High School in 1953 and went on to graduate from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lonnie Stuart Crichfield retired from the United States Department of Agriculture where he represented the USDA, APHIS, and Veterinary Services for 32 years as a Veterinary Medical Officer. He loved bird hunting, training bird dogs, riding broncs, and fishing. Stuart is survived by his wife: Dotsy Olds Sadler Crichfield; his one grandson: Cody Crichfield; and his right-hand man, Lawrence. He leaves behind stepchildren: Shirley Adams, Carol Sadler, and Dennis (Felicia) Sadler. Stuart also leaves behind seven step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Edgar Stuart Crichfield and Margaret McDearman Crichfield, his two sons: John (Wendy) Crichfield and Casey Crichfield and their mother: Marilyn Olds Crichfield, and one step-grandchild: Brad Williams. Ms. Sadie Mae Floyd, of Dyersburg, passed away at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg hospital. She was born December 30, 1931 in South Carolina to the late Thomas & Zadie Turner. Sadie Mae Floyd was a devoted wife and caring mother and grandmother. She served in ministry alongside her husband for many years. She is fondly remembered as a wonderful cook and talented seamstress.

Callie Ruth Leggett, age 81, of Ripley, TN passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at her home. Callie was born October 12,1942, in Pontotoc, MS. She is the daughter of the late Leonard and the late Lottie (McDivitt) Bobo. She was a Seamstress. Callie is survived by two daughters: Cindy (Ed) Hunt of Gates, TN and Jackie (Alan) Cherry of Halls, TN, and one son: Michael (Michelle) Leggett of Gates, TN; Sister of one sister: Linnie Mae Gilliland of Frog Jump, TN. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Amanda (Justin) Hunt Spoon, Ed (Shelby) Hunt, Ally Cherry, Hayden Cherry, and Wyatt Leggett and four great-grandchildren: Hadleigh Spoon, Hinleigh Spoon, Hunter Spoon, and Peyton Hunt that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Eugene Leggett; three sisters, Mary Frances Erwin, Betty Jean Erwin, and Charlene Abernathy, and one brother, Thomas Howard Bobo. The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, July 12, 2024, at New Vision Baptist Church, 2947 TN-88, Halls, TN with Bro. Mark Rager officiating. Burial will follow in Woodville Cemetery, 2024 Woodville Rd., Ripley, TN. Calling hours will be Friday, July 12 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at New Vision Baptist Church, 2947 TN-88, Halls, TN.
