She is the daughter of Crockett Dale and Christen Renee (Tucker) Henson. Lainey is survived by a sister Savannah Moore of Ripley, TN. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Bobbie Jernigan of Ripley, TN and Thomas Tucker of Dyersburg, TN., her paternal grandparents Donnie and Betty Henson of Ripley, TN. Lainey is also survived by her maternal great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Carl Tucker and paternal great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Huey and paternal great great-grandmother Joyce Henson of Ripley, TN. She also leaves several aunts and uncles. Lainey was preceded in death by a grandfather Ralph Newman. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, January 6 at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Bobbie was a Sunday School Teacher, sang in the choir, was a member of the WMU, was chairman of the Mary Jo Garrett Circle and a faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was also a member of the former Summer Hill Garden Club.

A native of Halls, Tennessee, Jerry graduated from UT Knoxville and was a veteran of the US Air Force and the Tennessee Air National Guard. Jerry joined First Tennessee Bank in 1963 and spent his civilian career there. He was active in the Optimist Club, the Rotary Club and other Memphis civic organizations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winston and Katie Daws of Halls. Jerry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna Stephens Daws, son Russell (Georgianne) Daws, daughter Bonnie (Nick) Kourvelas, and six grandchildren: Sarah (Matt) Malouf, Stephanie (Anderson) Goin, Elizabeth Daws, Logan Daws, Jeremy (Evlyn) Kourvelas and Julia Perkins; sister Kathy Gardner and nephew Jay (Tonia) Gardner. Visitation is Jan. 7 at noon at Halls Funeral Home, Lauderdale County, followed by graveside service with military honors at 2 pm at Halls Cemetery. Mr. John Wayne Hendrix, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at his residence. Wayne was born June 29, 1944 to the late L.M. & Marjorie Hendrix. He was a life-long lover of horses. He was the owner of Wayne Hendrix Training Stables for many years. He enjoyed breeding, training, pleasure riding at the Dyersburg and Newbern Saddle clubs and competing in local rodeo events including bull riding and barrel racing. He worked many years as a carpenter, loved woodworking, and also was an avid coon hunter. He was always devoted to any activity his family was involved in.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Lisa Carol Sipes, and was lovingly known as "Papaw" by his grandchildren, Cody Hendrix, Jenna Wooten & Holly Sipes, and his great grandchildren, GraceLynn Morgan, Marley Rose Wooten, Maci Beth Wooten and Mason Wooten, expected in January and also leaves his brother, Gene Larry Hendrix, His half-brother, Lee Daniels. Wayne also is survived by his companion, Mary Turnbo, her daughters, Gail Waller & Lorraine Rohleder and also family friend, Angie Meadows. He was preceded in death by his wife, Venda (Brenda) Hendrix; his parents and a sister, Joy Ann Pearson.

Early on in life, Billy worked at Sylvania for 25 years until they closed and then began working for Colonial Rubber Works in the Trim Department. He also worked for his late dear friend, Dan Ketchum, at Ketchums Exxon for many years. Billy had a love for country line dancing, gospel singings and CB radios, where his handle was "Three Dollar Bill". He was also the unofficial mayor of the YMCA in Dyersburg where he enjoyed helping with and attending the Silver Sneakers class. Early on in life, Billy attended and worshipped at Christian Sabbath Assembly. Later in life, he attended 2nd Baptist Church and Parrish Chapel Baptist Church.

Vivians young life in Bogota took her to the cotton fields where she chopped cotton as she dreamed of being in the cars that passed on their way to Dyersburg. She graduated Dyersburg High School in 1951 after which she went to work in Mayor Harts office as his secretary.

She was a long-time bookkeeper for the Lake County Board of Education as well as the Proctor City Water District and saleswoman for the Avon Company. She was a devoted caregiver to her family and enjoyed working in her flower gardens very much.

She is survived by her son, David Work & wife Sandy, her grand-daughters, Jennifer Work Paschall & husband, Billy and Alison Work Strayhorn & husband, Darren. She was greatly loved by her great-grandchildren, Jace, Chloe & Katie Strayhorn, River Paschall & wife, Mindy, Canaan & Sawyer Paschall, the family of Rex & Meaghen White and her great-great-grandson Owen Paschall. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norris Work, Sr., her son, Norris Work, Jr., her parents and a sister, Virginia Lechica.

Norris is survived by his sons, Mike Hilliard (Jane), Bruce Hilliard (Lori), his grandchildren Rebecca Kidwell (Joe), Jonathan Vickers (Anne Brings), Alycia Bennett (Anthony), Jacob Hilliard (Melanie), and Lindsey Kemper (Kris). He is predeceased by his wife, Juanita Cavness Hilliard. Also surviving are 11 great-grand children. Norris Hilliard was born and raised in Halls, TN on December 30, 1925, to the late Paul and Mazie Hilliard. He attended Halls High School, graduating in 1943. Norris retired from U.S. Steel in Gary, Indiana after 32 years. Upon retirement, Norris and his wife returned to the family farm on Edith Nankipoo Road, Halls, TN in 1984.Norris enjoyed gardening, fishing, and crossword puzzles and was an avid Cardinals fan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is loved & remembered as "Pop" by his grandson, Sam Bivens and his step-grandchildren, Zach & Grayson Nash, Tyler Northcutt, Zoey Henson and Felicia, Destiny & Taylor Kimbrell and step-great-granddaughter, Avalee Young. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Emily Bivens and his father, Olin "Pete" Bivens.
